OUR STUDIO COLLECTION
Actual work.
From our studio.
These are photographs of our actual prints and painted work, not stock images or digital renders. Every piece was printed in our studio, with hand painting where indicated. Original sculpt and design credits are shown separately where confirmed.
Each distinct piece, design or set is counted once.

A PERSONAL PROCESS
One idea.
A few clear steps.
No instant order. No guesswork on the final price. We’ll work out what’s possible before you commit.
Let’s talk about your project
- 01
Tell us what you have in mind.
Share a file or a download link, your preferred size, finish and when you need it. A rough idea is welcome too.
- 02
We check the details.
We review the model, permissions, print feasibility and current workload, then respond to your online enquiry by email.
- 03
Agree the price and the timing.
You receive a project-specific quote before any work begins. Sending an enquiry doesn’t reserve a slot or commit you to payment.
- 04
Made, finished and on its way.
Payment is arranged separately after the project is agreed. Completed orders are sent by post.

THE PLACE IDEAS TAKE SHAPEBEHIND THE PRINT
Creative ideas.
Hands-on approach.
3DPaintPrint brings together 3D printing and detailed finishing for practical parts, custom creations and display pieces.
Based on Selwyn Road in Rolleston.
Resin work includes washing and curing, with support removal and preparation before a finished paint job. FDM colour comes from the filament itself.
Send us an online enquiry and we’ll respond by email. Completed orders are sent by post.
GOOD TO KNOW
A few questions,
before you start.

Do I need a ready-to-print file?
No. Uploading your own model is the simplest starting point, but simple design or model-sourcing help can be discussed. We’ll be clear about scope and any design costs before you commit.
What’s the difference between FDM and resin?
FDM builds with filament and can make practical parts, figures and layered photo art, in one or more filament colours. Fine layer lines can remain visible. Resin typically captures finer detail and involves more preparation, so it generally costs more. FDM is not hand-painted; select resin for a hand-painted printed model. The right choice depends on the project.
Do I need to know which material to choose?
No. Tell us what the item needs to do and whether it will face heat, water or direct sun. We’ll help choose a suitable material and print setup. Our material guide explains the options in plain language.
Can you paint a figure or kit I already own?
Yes, you can enquire about painting a customer-owned figure or kit. Please include its size, material, condition and reference photos. It is considered separately and only accepted after review.
How much does it cost, and when will it be ready?
Design and preparation, material, print time, quantity, finishing and current capacity affect the quote. After reviewing your enquiry, we’ll agree on the price and delivery date with you before work begins.
What if my file is very large?
The upload flow uses small, resumable chunks rather than sending the whole file at once. A Drive or Dropbox download link is also welcome. Keep the original file until the project has been reviewed.
How do enquiries and delivery work?
Send us an online enquiry and we’ll respond by email. Completed orders are sent by post. Postage is confirmed with your quote.
Are there projects you don’t take on?
Safety-critical, medical, protective and load-bearing parts are outside this service. All projects are checked for suitability, permissions and available capacity before acceptance.
